Cydni Patterson is a barista championship competitor, the Director of Education for Getchusomegear, and the host of Cascara, a coffee travel podcast part of the Sprudge Podcast Network that explores a city’s coffee scenes with members of the local community acting as tour guide. Now, along now with Alexis Fisher, the North Carolina-based Patterson is looking to add entrepreneur to her résumé with Sweet Finish, the duo’s new coffee pop-up and catering company.

But in order to make Sweet Finish a reality, Patterson and Fischer need your help. They have set up a GoFundMe to raise $10,000 in order to help their business get off the ground.

Per the GoFundMe page, Sweet Finish will be more than just a coffee cart, it will be a fully curated experience. All decisions made by Sweet Finish—”marketing materials, teas, coffees, and pastries,” as well as the selection of local roasters and craftspeople—will be sourced from brands that share Patterson and Fisher’s “values, our communities, and our planet.”

Sweet Finish will be a mobile coffee shop for all, with prices being “calculated with the entire community in mind… that everyone can enjoy.”

The money raised from the crowdfunding campaign will go toward purchasing a coffee cart and equipment, a generator, a mini-fridge, a point-of-sale system, and marketing materials.

For more information on Sweet Finish’s mission or to support the campaign, visit their GoFundMe page.
